Privacy policy

Filmvest shows creators how their videos perform across YouTube, Instagram and TikTok. This page explains what we collect, why, and how to remove it.
What we collect
- From YouTube, through the YouTube API Services: your channel name and subscriber count, your videos and their statistics, YouTube Analytics reports for your channel (views, watch time, retention, audience age, gender and country), and comments on your videos.
- From Instagram: your username, follower count, posts and Reels with their insights, follower demographics, and comments on your posts.
- From TikTok: your display name, username, avatar, follower count, and your public videos with their view, like, comment and share counts.
- Sign-in tokens each platform gives us so we can keep your numbers up to date. They are encrypted before they are stored.
We only ever read. We never post, edit, delete or reply on your behalf, and we never sell your data.
How we use it
Only to show you your own analytics: charts, comparisons between platforms, and written summaries of what happened. When AI summaries are turned on, the relevant numbers and comments are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to write them; Anthropic doesn't use that data to train its models.
Who can see it
You, and the small team that runs Filmvest when they need to fix a problem. Data is stored with our database provider (Supabase) and served by our host (Vercel).
Removing your data
- Disconnecting a platform on the Accounts page deletes everything we synced from it.
- You can also remove Filmvest's access from each platform: Google at myaccount.google.com/permissions, Instagram under Settings, Apps and websites, and TikTok under Settings, Security, Manage app permissions. Data from a platform whose access was removed is deleted within 30 days.

YouTube
Filmvest uses YouTube API Services. By connecting YouTube you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's use of your data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
Cookies
We use one cookie to keep you signed in and a short-lived one during sign-in. No advertising or tracking cookies.
